Lady Lions at the Bellefonte Youth Center

Recently members of the Penn State Lady Lions Basketball Team; Dara Taylor, Talia East, Mia Nickson, and Nikke Greene were special guests at What's a Kid to Do program at  the Bellefonte Youth Center.  The Lady Lions visited with and got to know the kids, played games, and answered questions about the hard work they put into being such a great team!

YSB Announces Project Safe Place Initiative

A yellow and black “Safe Place” sign designates a place where kids can go if they need help and can’t go home. Inside all “Safe Place” locations are caring people who will make sure you access the help you need and deserve. The Youth Service Bureau is partnering with local businesses to launch Project Safe Place in Centre County. The Dairy Queen located at 310 West Aaron Drive in State College is our first neighborhood safe place. Take your troubles to a safe place…it’s where you can get help fast.

Thanks to the Council for Human Services for their financial support, and to our first partner Dairy Queen of State College!
