Residential Relief Staff

Looking
for your first job in the human services field, a flexible job to compliment
hours you are already working elsewhere, or just
flat-out looking for a way to get your foot in the door at the YSB, then join
our residential team! By becoming a residential relief staff member, you will
receive invaluable training and experience. You would be afforded the
opportunity to work across all four residential programs, as such having first
access to any permanent job openings within these programs.
Requirements include:
 | Must be 21 years of age. |
 | Attendance at one of our quarterly orientation sessions.

 | Successful interview post orientation class. |
 | Acceptable child abuse and criminal clearances. |
 | Full participation in a comprehensive orientation training
(approximately 40 hours throughout a one month timeframe, with all hours
being compensated). Training includes: practical information on working with
abused, neglected, and delinquent youth; CPR and First Aid training;
Medication Administration training; and, Safe Crisis Management training.

 | Reliable transportation. |
 | Ability to work at least two eight-hour shifts per month (more hours are
available if you have the desire to work more!). |
