Life Skills Training:
Stepping Stone staff provides in-house life skill training. As such,
residents are required to meet with their case Supervisor, Life Skill
Coordinator, Aftercare Coordinator, and Residential Counselor to address
identified life skill area needs. In addition to individual life skill lessons,
Stepping Stone also provides weekly life skill workshops to all program
participants and other youth in the community. Topics covered during workshops
may include: career planning, money management, relationships, communication,
job skills, health issues, housing, home maintenance, ethnic and cultural
diversity, etc.
